COPIAH COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – A Crystal Springs woman was killed during a crash.

The crash occurred on Highway 28 East near Rutledge Road in Copiah County around 7:45 p.m. on Sunday, March 9.

Officials with the Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP) said a 2017 Kia Sportage was traveling eastbound on the highway when it ran off of the road and collided with a ditch.

The driver, Donna Ingle, 64, received fatal injuries from the crash and was pronounced deceased on the scene.

This crash remains under investigation by MHP.
