Severe weather delays Monday start for Mississippi schools

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Due to the possibility of severe weather on Monday, March 31, some Mississippi school districts have announced delayed starts.

  • Columbia School District – One hour delayed start
  • Hattiesburg Public School District
    • Middle School (STEAM, N.R. Burger, LBLC) – 8:00 a.m.
    • Elementary School (GCE, Hawkins, Rowan, Thames, Woodley) – 8:30 a.m.
    • High School – 9:00 a.m.
  • Lawrence County School District – 10:00 a.m.
  • Rankin County School District:
    • Elementary – 9:00 a.m.
    • Middle and High Schools – 9:30 a.m.
