BROOKHAVEN, Miss. (WJTV) – A man wanted in connection to a homicide at a Brookhaven apartment complex has been captured in Atlanta, Georgia.

The Daily Leader reported James Lewis Levi, Jr., 30, was arrested in Atlanta on Thursday, March 27. He was transported to the Fulton County Jail and was extradited back to Mississippi.

Police said Levi shot and killed Deleatric Quarles, 21, on March 12 during a fight at Cloverdale Apartments.

Quarles was transported to King’s Daughters Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.
