JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Demolition began on the old Coca-Cola Bottling Plant in Jackson.

Jackson Mayor Chokwe A. Lumumba said the plant, located on Highway 80, will be the site of a new commercial development.

The building is expected to be demolished in about 30 days. Officials said the work will cost about $150,000 in public and private funding.
