JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are searching for two carjacking suspects after a crash.

Detective Tommie Brown, with the Jackson Police Department (JPD), said the suspects carjacked a vehicle at a gas station on Belvedere Drive on May 14.

According to Brown, the carjacking occurred around 6:05 p.m. He said five minutes later, the suspects were involved in a crash. Police said the suspects jumped out of the vehicle and ran away from the scene.
