JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – A man was hospitalized after being allegedly attacked at an abandoned apartment complex.

The incident occurred at an apartment complex on Belvedere Drive on Tuesday, May 20.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man who had been assaulted. He was transported to a nearby hospital.

Police have not released any suspect information at this time.

According to police, the apartment complex was supposed to be condemned. The complex has been the site of several fires this year.
