JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police arrested two teenagers in connection to a fatal shooting near an elementary school.
On May 27, Timauri Blackmon, 17, and Tavorris Flowers, 15, were both arrested and charged with accessory after the fact to murder. Blackmon received a $500,000 bond, and Flowers was denied bond.
Investigators are still searching for Demarion Martin, 19, who is wanted for capital murder in connection to the case.
Detective Tommie Brown, with the Jackson Police Department (JPD), said the victim was shot multiple times on Hillside Drive on Monday, May 19. The shooting occurred around 2:00 p.m. near Green Elementary School.
The victim was identified as Jeffery Bolton.
