MADISON COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – A power outage has affected nearly 1,000 customers in Madison County.

According to Madison police, Highway 463 near Annandale Golf Course Drive was shut down Friday morning due to a power line over the roadway.

Drivers are encouraged to use Gluckstadt Road, if they’re heading south into Madison. If you’re heading north, you will need to detour to Reunion Parkway.

Police said Entergy crews are working to clear the roadway. The outage is affected 917 customers. According to Entergy’s website, power is estimated to be restored around 9:00 a.m. on Friday.
