JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are investigating after a man was shot and killed at an apartment complex.

The shooting occurred at Park Springs Apartments in the 5600 block of Shaw Road on June 19.

Detective Tommie Brown, with the Jackson Police Department (JPD), said officers responded to the apartment complex and found a man who had been shot multiple times. The victim, who was identified as LaJarvis Ruffin, died at the scene.

Brown did not provide any suspect information.
