JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – One person was injured during a shooting in Jackson.

The shooting occurred on Hickory Drive near Vernon Drive on July 2.

Detective Tommie Brown, with the Jackson Police Department (JPD), said the victim was transported to a local hospital by a private vehicle.
