23-year-old man killed in Jackson shooting

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – A 23-year-old man died after being shot in Jackson.

The shooting occurred in the 900 block of Cooper Road on July 4.

Detective Tommie Brown, with the Jackson Police Department (JPD), said the victim, 23-year-old Gabriel King, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Brown said two adults and two teenagers were arrested in connection to the fatal shooting. Cameron Russell, 24, and two 17-year-olds were charged with murder. Daniel Taylor, 22, was charged with accessory after the fact.
