RIDGELAND, Miss. (WJTV) – Ridgeland police are investigating after a body was found inside a vehicle.

The incident occurred at Sunchase Ridgeland Apartments on William Boulevard on Friday, July 18.

Ridgeland Police Chief Brian Myers said said a deceased man was found inside a Chevrolet Trailblazer by his mother. Myers said it appears the man was inside the vehicle for two days.

The identity of the person has not been released, and his cause of death is under investigation.
