BYRAM, Miss. (WJTV) – Byram police are investigating after a pedestrian was hit and killed.

According to Detective Tommie Brown, with the Jackson Police Department (JPD), the incident occurred in the 5500 block of Terry Road on August 1.

Interim Hinds County Coroner Jeramiah Howard identified the victim as Amber Walley, 43. Authorities have not released any additional information.
