JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Capitol police are searching for a suspect who robbed a Jackson bank.
The robbery occurred at Cadence Bank on Canton Mart Road just before 2:15 p.m. on Friday, August 8.
Bailey Martin, spokesperson for the Mississippi Department of Public Safety (MDPS), said the suspect had left the scene before officers arrived.
Police said the suspect had a gun when he entered the bank, as well as a shirt around his head. He took an undisclosed amount of money. No injuries were reported.
