JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are investigating after a pedestrian was killed during a hit-and-run.

Interim Jackson Police Chief and Hinds County Sheriff Tyree Jones said the incident occurred on Abraham Lincoln Drive near Thomas Jefferson Road around 9:00 p.m. on August 30, 2025.

The pedestrian was struck by an unknown vehicle that fled the scene. The victim was identified as Renardo Henderson, 41.
