RANKIN COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – Part of State Route 469 in Rankin County will be closed for railroad upgrades.

The closure will take place in both directions of SR 469 just east of Pecan Street. According to the Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT), the closure began on September 8 and will end at 4:00 p.m. on September 13, 2025.

Drivers should utilize an alternate route during the temporary closure.
