JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – A 19-year-old was killed and two women were injured during a shooting at a Jackson gas station.

The shooting occurred in the 3300 block of Bailey Avenue on September 30, 2025.

According to Jackson police, the deceased victim was identified as Joshua Davis, 19. They said two women, ages 21 and 50, were injured in the shooting. They were both transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Interim Jackson Police Chief and Hinds County Sheriff Tyree Jones said the suspects are believed to be at least two males in a black Jeep. They’re accused of firing multiple rounds into a vehicle at the gas station. Jones said the Jeep was recovered in a nearby area.
