MOSS POINT, Miss. (WJTV) – Agents with the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics (MBN) said they arrested a gang member on drug charges in Moss Point.

On October 9, 2025, MBN agents executed a search warrant at a residence in Moss Point.

Bailey Martin, spokesperson for the Mississippi Department of Public Safety (MDPS), said 45-year-old Linquin Frank Reid, a Bloods Street gang member, was arrested and charged with three counts of sale of controlled substance – fentanyl, felon in possession of a firearm, aggravated trafficking of cocaine, trafficking of fentanyl, possession of crack cocaine and possession of marijuana all while in possession of a firearm.

During the search warrant, Martin said agents seized 442 grams of cocaine, 128 grams of fentanyl, 261 dosage units of counterfeit oxycodone pills containing fentanyl, 39 grams of crack cocaine, 52 grams of marijuana, three handguns, and U.S. currency.

“Operations like this one send a clear message: we will not tolerate those who choose to profit from poisoning our communities with fentanyl and other dangerous drugs,” said MDPS Commissioner Sean Tindell.  “This arrest is a direct result of the strong partnerships between our state, local, and federal law enforcement agencies. When we work together and share resources, we are far more effective at dismantling criminal organizations and keeping deadly drugs off our streets.”

Martin said MBN was assisted in this investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Safe Street Task Force (SSTF), Pascagoula Police Department and the Coastal Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET).
