COPIAH COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – Copiah County deputies are investigating after a 20-year-old man was killed during a shooting.

Investigators said they responded to the Copiah County Medical Center just after 11:00 p.m. on October 13, 2025. A victim had been brought in with a gunshot wound.

When deputies arrived, they learned that Decedric Stampley, 20, had died.
