Woman killed in Clinton shooting, police seek suspect

CLINTON, Miss. (WJTV) – Clinton police are investigating after a woman was shot and killed.

The incident occurred in the 900 block of Cedar Hill Drive shortly after 11:00 p.m. on October 20, 2025.

Police said the victim, 45-year-old Jasmine Singleton, was found deceased on the kitchen floor with multiple gunshot wounds.

Witnesses told officers they heard gunfire and observed a gold Chevrolet Tahoe fleeing the scene. Police said surveillance video confirmed the witnesses’ accounts.

According to investigators, the vehicle was registered to Carlton D. Mack, 42, who is the victim’s ex-boyfriend. They said Mack has multiple prior domestic violence arrests.
