CRYSTAL SPRINGS, Miss. (WJTV) – Three suspects have been arrested in connection to the shooting death of a 22-year-old man in Crystal Springs.

According to investigators, Robert Brent, Jr., of Crystal Springs, was found shot inside a vacant apartment on North Jackson Street on October 27, 2025.

Police said two arrests for robbery and murder were made shortly after the incident. Demarionta Wilson, 21, and Cameron Wolfe, 17, are being held in the Copiah County Jail.

Freziya Welch, 19, was charged as an accessory to murder.

Police said the three suspects are from Crystal Springs and were denied bond when they made their initial court appearances.
