JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – The suspect arrested in connection a Jackson shooting that killed a pregnant woman was denied bond on Wednesday.
Daniel Jones was taken into custody on Tuesday, January 11. The shooting happened Sunday evening on Bishop Avenue.
Police said 20-year-old Brianna Carter, who was eight months pregnant, was shot multiple times. She later died at the hospital, along with her unborn child.
