NATCHEZ, Miss. (WJTV) – Natchez Mayor Dan Gibson announced on Monday that he would miss out on the city’s events celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
The Natchez Democrat reported the mayor believes he might have COVID-19.
“Certainly don’t want to expose anyone if I do have it. Please keep me in your prayers,” he said.
Gibson is waiting on the COVID-19 test results at home.
