JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Visit Jackson leaders announced a new strategy to increase tourism. They provided an update on the organization’s 52-week plan.
They announced the launch of a new website, tour guide, and tourism passport. Jackson Mayor Chokwe A. Lumumba commended Visit Jackson for highlighting the attractions the city has to offer.
“I listen to the conversation. I listen to people often suggesting that there is little to do in Jackson, and I watched the creativity. I’ve watched once again you’ve responded to the challenge that invites people to experience Jackson, that invites people to enjoy all that our city has to offer,” he said.
The website and tour guide highlights museums, restaurants and other tourist attractions in Jackson.
