LAUREL, Miss. (WHLT) – Laurel police warned neighbors about a phone scam that asks for donations to support local police.
Leaders with the department said Laurel police and the local Fraternal Order of Police are not involved in the calls, and neighbors are encouraged to hang up the phone.
