NATCHEZ, Miss. (WJTV) – Natchez Mayor Dan Gibson declared a local emergency in the city due to the threat of severe weather on Tuesday, March 22.
The National Weather Service (NWS) said the storm could bring damaging winds, heavy rain and possible tornadoes.
According to the proclamation, all city agencies and departments will be available to assist and discharge their emergency responsibilities during the severe weather threat.
