JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are investigating after a woman was shot and killed Tuesday morning.
Officer Sam Brown said 33-year-old Candice Proctor found lying on Alabama Avenue east of Capitol Street with a gunshot wound to her head before 1:45 a.m.
Brown said there were no witnesses or suspects at this time.
