JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson native Alyssa Nichols has become the first ever FIFA referee from Mississippi.

Nichols is a Murrah and Jackson State graduate.

FIFA is the largest soccer organization in the world and puts on the World Cup every 4 years.

Nichols’s dream is to one day referee a World Cup.
