JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are investigating after a man was stabbed to death.

The incident happened around 3:30 p.m. on Briarwood Drive on Wednesday, February 15.

Officer Sam Brown said the stabbing happened during a verbal altercation with a man and a woman.

Brown said the victim, Jason Jackson, was stabbed by Malia Short. This is an ongoing investigation.
