JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are investigating after a person was shot and killed Saturday night.

The shooting happened on Petunia Street near Gardenia Street.

Hinds County Coroner Sharon Grisham-Stewart said one person died. The shooting victim has not been identified.
