VICKSBURG, Miss. (WJTV) – Vicksburg police are investigating after one person was killed during a drive-by shooting.

Vicksburg police said the shooting happened on Harrison Street at Cherry Street on Tuesday, July 18.

When officers arrived, they found the victim, 22-year-old Preston Wilson, Jr., of Vicksburg, suffering from a gunshot wound. He died at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
