JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – A woman and two children managed to escape from a fire that happened at a Jackson home.

The fire happened on Boozier Drive on Tuesday, August 15.

Firefighters said the woman and two children were alerted by a smoke alarm, and they were able to get out before crews arrived.

The home is not livable at this time.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
